Custom Handmade Leather Belts and Buckles

Caballo, nestled in the foot hills of the La Plata mountain range in northern New Mexico, is home to high quality custom leather belts that are hand made to your exact specifications. We also provide crafted gold and silver buckles and tip sets.

We are a small company that has been manufacturing high quality custom leather belts and other goods for over 20 years whose work became a small part of Christine Mather's 1992 book: True West: Arts, Traditions, and Celebrations (on page 141). As you look through our on-line catalog, you will see many unique belt styles, all handmade here in our shop in New Mexico. In addition, you will also see a variety of silver and gold buckles and tip sets, hand made in the tradition of the cowboys who first brought these back from Mexico in the late 1800s and popularized the style as they were taken up the Santa Fe Trail to other parts of the country.

Just remember, we are a custom shop, so feel free to ask us about making a custom leather belt to your unique requirements.
